THE BAND DOWN YONDER is a local bluegrass band consisting of family, neighbors, and co-workers. Their music is a unique combination of banjo, guitar, mandolin, strings, keyboard, vocals, and percussion. John, Janene, Dorothy, and Charlotte Petersen, Zach Smith, Charles Ashurst, and Karen Campbell put their own style into well-known tunes, some dating back to the 1800’s.
